Travel back in time as you visit the ruins of the 1000-year-old Hardenberg Castle.The romantic Schloss Park invites you to take a stroll through its meadows, ponds and gnarled trees. In the winter the park becomes a paradise for ice skaters. Hardenberg’s 1,200 m² ice-skating rink is the largest in the region. Be sure to visit the Gräflich von Hardenberg'schen Kornbrennerei (distillery) during your stay. A guided tour demonstrates how, for over 300 years, spirits such as the famous Hardenberg Korn and the Original Danziger Goldwasser have been produced.
